An open space is like a blank canvas for creative souls. It can be moulded and shaped so long as there is thoughtfulness and purpose. What many don’t realise is the intricacy behind every little detail.
Behind every picture-perfect moment are countless hours of trial and error, tears of frustration, memories made and laughter shared. Moments like these, captured in finesse by Finale Studios, are now forever ours to keep.
With the tenacity of De Comate’s team, and the wizardry of Sound City in immersive audio and stunning visuals — our vision took form as D Adventurous Project.
Sometimes, we forget to pause and appreciate the beauty around us. We often take things for granted — until they are no longer there.
It all begins with a small, brave step: the awareness to change, and the willingness to try.
Being the first to present a multi-sensory art installation in Penang was more than intimidating — but it was not something we would shy away from.
We dreamt of an exhibition that would transport visitors into a world that reignited all the senses — from sights and touch to the scent in the air, the harmonious vibrations of sound, and even the delight of taste in every bite.
The portal between fantasy & reality
Every piece was crafted with love and dedication. Like every journey, it came with its share of challenges.
With just 10 days to set up, every minute counted.
Yet, with quick thinking, adaptability, and nearly a decade of decorating experience, our team pushed through every obstacle — humbled by the lessons learned along the way.
The result? Visitors from near and far sharing their joy, awe, and one-of-a-kind memories with us:
“The moment you enter “D Adventurous Project”, it’s like entering a fantasy world between dreams and reality. In the dim light, a glowing tree stands quietly, as if whispering. On the display board illuminated by the light, I read this sentence: “The trees stand tall, glowing softly like a heartbeat.” At that moment, my heart was quietly touched. The words on the display board are like a letter to my childhood. It awakened those boundless dreams in my childhood, and made me realize that the process of growth is like the growth of trees, which requires time and patience. The moment I stood under the tree, it seemed as if I really heard the whisper of my dream. Closing my eyes, I tried to pick up those aspirations buried by reality. This installation is not just an art exhibition, it is like a mirror, reflecting the softest and purest part of my heart. It reminds me that dreams never disappear, we just need to stop and listen to the voice of our hearts. Overall: This experience made me feel the resonance of art and emotion, and made me believe in the power of dreams again. Recommended to everyone who needs to pause for a moment and find their original intention.”
“Love this interactive art exhibition! It was really awesome as you can interact with the lights, animation and augmented reality! As you step into the space, the staff will kindly help you to create your very own personalised AI avatar and if you want, you can buy a journal to upgrade your avatar options with a storyline. There is even a game for you to play with your kids or to just even unleash the kid in you? My favourite is the jungle one with all the animals. Staff were friendly and cheerful and even volunteered to take photos for you. There is also a cafe waiting for you with whimsical drinks, cakes & pastries.”
“I really enjoyed the exhibition! All the themes were interesting and beautifully done, but the Galaxy theme was definitely my favorite. One of the highlights was that we got to custom-make our own personal character journal book, which added a unique and personal touch to the experience.”
“The moment I stepped into the venue, I was amazed! Each exhibition area gave me a different experience and feeling. You can not only see, touch, and hear, but even smell everything around you. There are also super fun games, perfect for parent-child interaction. It’s truly an incredible experience!”
